Josef Szombathy and his crew had been digging in Willendorf for a long period,in this period they experienced a lack of sex.At the time(1908),Darke,there was no playboy but there were a lot of round-shaped women painted(let's say the birth of Venus by Boticcelli)and they fantasized about them.When they found this round-shaped object they associated it with the"pornographic" paintings of the last centuries,so they named it "Venus of Willendorf".
