Here's a documentary on post war Vietnam family reunion. It is quite emotional to see the daughter and the mother meet for the first time after 22 years or so.

But the documentary ends in a sour tone. The war of Vietnam brings forth a lot of strong feelings as well as the culture between America and Vietnam make these two women just not connect.

If you look into this, it's interesting how similar cultural expectations in Vietnam are to the cultural expectations in Albania. At least, this is the impression that I got.

But maybe,despite culture bonds, it's the materialism aspect in the not so developed countries and the expectations that in United States ,everything is easy and 'money grows on trees' that make people predisposed so easily to expect material things.

Anyway, I thought it was interesting and it draws so many parallelisms with Albanian culture in Albania.
